It’s incredible to think that this journey started only one year ago! We’ve packed so much in – it’s great to reflect on the many highlights that have made it a year to remember.
Community is everything to us, and we are so grateful to ours. To thank you for the part you’ve played, however big or small, we wanted to share some of these moments with you. Whether you joined us at our events or have partnered with us in another way, thank you for being part of our story. We’re proud to turn one year old and can’t wait to see what the next 12 months bring.
November 2022 – The Grand Launch
We started as we meant to go on with two great launch events at Next Door in Grand Cayman, raising a glass to months of hard work and new beginnings.
January 2023 – Stepping up at the STEP Conference
We brought our A game – and our exercise bike – to the conference in January!
It’s always great to attend the STEP conference and be in the thrum of the industry, focusing this time on wealth structuring. Maxine moderated a panel discussion on family offices, and we spent time with industry professionals, successfully convincing some to commit their time to our bike challenge and help us cycle the length of Grand Cayman on our indoor bike (twice)!
February 2023 – Giving Back
Having successfully cajoled some fellow STEP attendees to help us reach our target miles on the bike, we shared the success with our chosen charities.
We were honoured to have the opportunity to support some incredible charities who do amazing work in our community.
April 2023 – London calling!
Hosting our networking event in the capital with an array of contacts, both old and new, we shared an evening with the best of the private client industry – and the comedy genius of John Robins.
It was a truly heart-warming evening, and we were delighted with the turnout (and the incredible canapés).
July and September 2023 – New(ish) faces in the office
We welcomed Avinash as our new Senior VP of Accounting, and Abigail as our very own In-house Counsel.
Both have been long-time friends and supporters of us at IMG, we’re proud and honoured that they’ve joined us to bolster our operational framework and provide guidance on the legal and tax implications of our work.
August 2023 – Shining a light on philanthropy in our industry
What unites IMG is our innate commitment to doing the right thing, and we’re passionate about keeping philanthropy at the forefront of the minds of our peers.
We launched our first thought leadership in August, engaging some incredible figures in the field of philanthropy and covering a huge range of topics, from investment strategies to cross-border structuring and both the social and financial impact.
