IMG Trust is pleased to announce its participation in Offshore Disputes Week 2025, hosted by ThoughtLeaders4 (TL4) at Hotel Indigo on March 24-26, 2025.

IMG Trust’s Principal, Peter Goddard, will participate in a key discussion on the matter of Bridging Generational Gaps Between Trustees & Beneficiaries. The conversation will explore:

·         How younger generations perceive trustees compared to previous generations.

·         The balance of transparency, governance, and legal risk in modern trust structures.

·         How advisors, trustees, and families can navigate intergenerational wealth conflicts.

Peter commented:

“As family wealth transfers to the next generation, trustees are asked to adapt to changing expectations and legal frameworks. Offshore Disputes Week provides an excellent platform to explore these challenges and I’m looking forward to sharing thoughts and ideas on a subject that’s central to the future of trust management.

Offshore Disputes Week is focused on the four areas that shape the growth of dispute resolution in the offshore world: corporate disputes, contentious insolvency, asset recovery, and trust litigation. It features dozens of expert speakers across two days of panels, round tables, and networking.

Chris Leese, Founding Director of TL4, commented:

“We’re excited to have IMG Trust participate in Offshore Disputes Week 2025. Peter Goddard’s expertise on bridging generational gaps in trust management will be a valuable addition to the discussions on key challenges in offshore dispute resolution.”

IMG’s range of specialisms includes Contentious Trusts, and Peter has considerable experience advising beneficiaries, settlors, and other stakeholders on trust disputes. As a lawyer-led trust company, IMG has extensive experience managing litigation, including challenges to trust validity, asset recovery, breach of trust claims, and cross-border divorce proceedings involving trusts.
